Our Ministries

This is not an exhaustive list of the ministry efforts of our faith family, but it is an accurate presentation of our regular, ongoing ministries. For more information about any of the listed ministries or other ministry efforts of our church, please contact the church office or Pastor Jake.

Discipleship Ministries

• Kids’ Church: Sundays during the worship service for children K-4th grade.

• Sunday School: A general adult class, Women’s class and class for Grades 5-12 are available after worship services from 11am-12pm.

• Faith Family Group: 2 Sundays a month, 5-7pm. Families with children of all ages and those with a heart to invest in the next generation share a potluck meal, play games, and seek to spiritually grow together.

• Faith Follow-Up: Wednesday 12-1:30pm. All are welcome for a time of open biblical discussion and prayer with Pastor Jake.

• Men’s Breakfast: 2nd Saturday of every month 7:30-9am. Men of all ages are welcome to share food and fellowship.

Care Ministries

• Nursery Care: available Sunday mornings during worship services for children from infancy to Pre-K.

• Greeting Ministry: Welcoming all with a smile when they join us on Sunday mornings.

• Hospitality Ministry: providing space and refreshments for people to connect after the worship service.

• Memorial Committee: serving others in the process of planning and facilitating memorial services and receptions for loved ones.

• Prayer Ministry: praying for the needs of our congregation and community. Requests are shared in Sunday bulletins and through our email Prayer Chain.

• Deacons' Ministry: helping those in our faith family dealing with financial distress.

• Shepherding & Visitation Ministry: caring for the spiritual needs around us of those who are shut-in, hospitalized, or needing encouragement and counsel. Engaged and overseen by the elders, but a calling of every member of the church.

Worship-Related Ministries

• Praise team: collectively bringing together the musical gifts we have to lead in worshipping God through music.

• Sound & Audio-visual Team: Running the sound and AV elements of worship gatherings.

• Worship Work Group: A collaborative effort to evaluate and cultivate our church’s approach and engagement in worship for the glory of God.

• Service Planning Team: A group effort to plan the songs, scriptures, and other elements involved in our worship gatherings.
